Lacrosse is the Creator's Game — one of the oldest team sports on earth, born from Indigenous nations. I coach lacrosse because sport is transformational: it builds character, community, and a pathway for youth who might never otherwise have access.
I've been around lacrosse since 3rd grade when I watched my good friend's older brother throw around the back yard—and I was hooked ever since. It led me to varsity letter three times in high school in New Jersey, then a scholarship to Limestone University in Gaffney, South Carolina. I realized I couldn't stay away, so I began coaching after college while working to grow the game down south. Today, I play in the Atlanta Lacrosse League and coach our local youth and high school teams while teaching the game to my two sons. But I also know not every kid has the access and opportunity I had. That's why I'm committed to DLYLA's mission: ensuring every young person can play lacrosse—regardless of their family's finances. Whether you're looking to support our program, sponsor a player, or apply for financial aid yourself, there's a place for you in our community.
